I want to be an Administrative Assistant because I'm interested in business operations. I would like to enter a career where I am able to help people do their jobs effectively. I have worked as a secretary in an office setting for three different corporations and performed duties that include filing, photocopying, managing the office supply inventory, arranging meetings and appointments, sorting mail and answering phones.

8/31/15 – Present: The position of Assistant to the President at a New York-based company has given me great experience organizing events with multiple stakeholders involved. I was involved with several events including the #NYCSavesLives Community Food Drive, Fighting Hunger in America's Schools Summit & Expo 2015, Fifth Annual Employee Cultural Awareness Series Dinner for Employees' Children and most recently the 2015 United Nations Summit on Climate Change.

Every day is different so being able to keep my composure and take control of a situation has been an essential skill. I have had the opportunity to work with leaders from around the world so thinking quickly on my feet has been instrumental!
