Free for members of the FSU community, URL Shortening Service (URLSS) is a web service that addresses the issue of ugly URLs.

 

FSU's URL shortening service (located at http://urlss.fsu.edu) can take any official fsu.edu webpage and shorten it to an fla.st link. It is easy to use and can be accessed via computer or mobile device: http://gofla.st/m7Z5z7

The customized option allows users to promote events and programs by assigning a custom name and color scheme to their shortened link: http://bit.ly/e7ryNV
