Buff.ly is a tool that allows you to shorten and schedule your links to post on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram , LinkedIn and Google+ .

What it

After creating an account with Buff.ly (note: you will need to connect your social media accounts), users can create shortened links that are automatically added to their Buffer queue. Links can then be delivered every day, week or only at certain times of the day. To use Buff.ly, simply click 'Add Link' in the top right hand corner of the site . Enter your long URL into the box provided and select which social media sites you would like this link to be uploaded too - clicking 'Buffer' will add it straight to your queue!

Whether you want your links shared in the morning, afternoon or late at night - Buff.ly can be scheduled to post according to specific times and dates.

Who it is for:

Buff.ly is great for users who have strict social media schedules and find it difficult posting links manually across multiple accounts. With a simple link shortner and buffer integrated into one platform, more time can be spent sharing content rather than scheduling posts .

Summary:

Articles about social media management tools are very popular with Buffer users, but more importantly if they then go on to receive good coverage from other sites that sends more traffic back to Buffer which means more customers! Also, this article did a really great job of explaining what the product did without coming off as spammy.

Overall, a very well-written article that did a good job of explaining what the product was and how it worked without coming off as spammy or too salesy!

I think the author made great use of background information to explain what Buffer was and why someone might want to use Buff.ly in conjunction with it. However, I do not agree that they need to be used together - I think Buff.ly could easily stand on its own if your social media accounts are already connected through Buffer . The author also did a really nice job of summarizing the post at the end! Overall, this is an example of great content marketing!

The only thing I would add for this article is more sources, links to other posts or articles, etc. to get more eyes on the Buff.ly content since it is likely new for most of Buffer's readers! Overall, very well done!!
