Poplink # MatchURL : No. 1 Premium URL Shortener

01.Nov.2021

Long URL: The long URL is the actual link to your desired page. It can be found by right-clicking on a hyperlink and selecting "Copy Long URL" or something similar in your browser.

Description: An excellent tool for shortening and customizing links to improve click through rate (CTR) in an article's anchor text. This tool also allows you to track how many clicks it receives from various sources such as search engines, social media, etc...

In order to make this tool work, you must have a domain/site hosted by PopURLs which will host your desired link.

Note: This tool is not a redirect in the traditional sense in that you will still be able to see the full URL in your browser's address bar. If you do not want the long URL displayed in your browser, feel free to edit it accordingly after shortening it with Poplink.

Step 1: Type or paste your long url into the box under "Long URL" and press [Shorten]. In case multiple URLs are found on one page, enter all desired links separated by space(s) [see example] [do NOT add 'http://' or slashes - see note below].

Step 2: Modify the short url if desired. If you want to keep the shorten link exactly as found, simply press [Generate Short URL]. However, you can modify up-to 20 characters at your convenience. For example, www.google.com will become goo gle . Step 3: Add Poplink's social buttons or logo to display on your webpage by selecting which button(s) to use from the options under "Poplink Buttons". Press "Show HTML" to reveal how the code should look before you copy/paste it onto your webpage(s).

Step 4: For more advanced configuration settings such as whether to allow direct linking of images, getting a custom JavaScript for tracking purposes, changing some colors, and adding codes to your webpage, press [Advanced].

Step 5: You can also add additional source tracking information by pasting it into the box under "Additional Tracking Info". Up to 20 characters is allowed. This will be used for statistical analysis. Step 6: Under "Hide Link Bar" you may optionally add a link (of your choice) to hide/show the link bar at any time. Press "Show HTML" to reveal how the code should look before you copy/paste it onto your webpage(s). If this option is not selected, Poplink's logo will always display on top of each page where Poplink appears with the link bar hidden until user manually shows it by clicking on the logo or designated button. Note: Poplink should work across all browsers. However, if you have any issue with a button not working properly, please let us know using the feedback form below and we will resolve it as soon as possible.

Step 7: Press [Save Settings] to store your desired changes. This will only save the specific settings for the page/website you are currently on. The next time you visit this website from this browser, these same settings will apply unless you choose to modify them again or switch to another saved setting file from "Settings File" under "Poplink Tool". All Poplink-related code is located near the very bottom of a webpage before "" so feel free to edit accordingly if necessary.

Note: Do NOT link directly to Poplink itself for security purposes.***Pop

link is a great tool, which allows you to change long URLs into shorter ones that are easier to read. This generally leads to better CTR (Click-Through Rate) because your visitors aren't distracted by URL strings that go on for several lines.

Long URLs can be found anywhere at all... Blogs, news articles, comments, tweets, pretty much everywhere. Poplink aims to make these links more manageable without changing the destination of the link itself.

By using poplink , it also adds basic metadata about the page to the shortened link so that analytics tools will have an easier time tracking it. The metadata includes things like where the link was posted and how many times it's been clicked along with other bits of information that might be useful to your marketing efforts.

Not only can poplink shorten URLs, but it also gives you the option to customize the short URL (e.g. "popurls.com/seosmo" instead of "seosmo.net") in order to make it more memorable and thus improve your CTR.

Once you've shortened a link with Poplink, simply copy the custom URL and share it with your friends! The poplink tool also includes analytics tools that will help you measure how many clicks each of your links gets when shared on different platforms like Twitter or Facebook .

Note: Using custom domains is not allowed by Google Analytics therefore they are not supported within Poplink at this time.
